The APPLE CIDER VINEGAR Way

The APPLE CIDER VINEGAR Way

To ease a cold or fever drink a cup of hot water with honey and a splash of apple cider vinegar -approx. 2-3 tsp.

As a grooming or hygiene product:
1) Soak feet in warm water with apple cider vinegar (approx 1/4 -1/2 cup). Towel vigorously to clean up callouses and dead skin.
2) Soak in a warm bath that has apple cider vinegar (approx 1 cup). Towel vigorously to cleanse skin.
3) Add a splash of apple cider vinegar to the rinse water as a conditioner after shampooing hair. This cleanses the hair and leaves it soft.
4) Brush your teeth with apple cider vinegar to minimize plaque buildup 3 or 4 times a year. This should be treated as food and a good regular brushing after the vinegar brush is necessary.

Add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to home made soup to enhance the flavor.

Adding a drop or 2 (depending on the size of the pet) of apple cider vinegar to the drinking water helps to clear eye discharge.

My dairy farmer brother gave apple cider vinegar to his cows
1) to aid digestion
2) when they had difficulty coming into heat.

Thyroid Herbal Supplements That Work - Try These Natural Herbal Remedies

An under or over active thyroid is one of those problems that is hard to diagnose because it can be responsible for a very large range of health problems. The hormones produced by the thyroid gland help to regulate your metabolism and your nervous system. This means that a faulty thyroid could be related to abnormal fatigue, weight gain, unexplained loss of appetite, hair problems, dry skin, problems regulating body temperature, abnormal libido, depression, drooping eyes, muscle cramps, and even memory loss.

The easiest way to know you have a thyroid problem is if any of these health problems seem to be cropping up in a completely unexplained manner. Even then, it may not be a thyroid problem. That means you need to see a doctor or a professional who can diagnose for thyroid disorders.

Herbal remedies are better than medical procedures for thyroid problems.

Unfortunately, modern medical science does not have a commonly known cure that is effective for hypothyroidism. There are some surgeries and prescription medications available, but clinical research has generally shown them to be about equally effective as herbal remedies.

Modern medicine's strategy for fighting thyroid problems is to replace the hormones your thyroid replaces with synthetic hormones. Unfortunately, these hormones can have many unexpected side effects and not even work in some cases. On the other hand, herbal remedies work by trying to cure the source of the problem, which is the thyroid. Examples of a few herbal remedies available are coleus and bayberry bark.

There are also herbal remedies that work to fight the symptoms of thyroid problems. For example, St. John's Wort is commonly used by herbal medicine practitioners to fight the depression and sluggishness that come along with hypothyroidism. While medical science has some drugs that fight depression, they tend to have extremely undesirable side effects that can at times be worse than the disease.

If you think your Thyroid is acting up, I highly recommend you try this Thypro free trial here: http://www.treatmentforthyroid.com/. I was feeling tired all day long no matter how long I slept, however once I started taking this thyroid supplement I felt my energy levels go back up to normal.

Looking for homemade remedies passed down through the generations for curing anything from the common cold to planters warts (who thinks of planters warts - only my husband :))
